- access to a wide range of good practice case studies and important resource links;
- discussion of the ethical issues of online research and comprehensive technical guidance.

- Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft
- The DFG (German Research Foundation) is the central, self-governing research organisation that promotes research at universities and other publicly financed research institutions in Germany. It serves all branches of science and the humanities by funding research projects and facilitating cooperation among researchers.
- Economic and Social Research Council
- The ESRC is the UK's leading research funding and training agency addressing economic and social concerns. They aim to provide high quality research on issues of importance to business, the public sector and government.
- ESRC Research Resources

- National Centre for Social Research (NatCen)
- NatCen is the largest independent social research institute in Britain. They design, carry out and analyse research studies in the fields of social and public policy, including extensive research among members of the public. NatCen has conducted high quality and innovative work that informs policy debates and the public for more than 30 years.
- North and Central London Research Consortium
- NoCLoR aims to promote and support high quality primary and community health care research in its sector by coordinating and disseminating research expertise, supporting the development of new research, facilitating competitiveness and access to funding and consolidating links to education and lifelong learning. NoCLoR is a partnership between Camden, Islington, Barnet, Enfield, and Haringey PCTs, Camden & Islington Mental Health & Social Care Trust, and Barnet Enfield and Haringey Mental Health Trust. NoCLoR also encompasses the former North Central Thames Primary Care Research Network.

- The UK Federation of Primary Care Research Organisations provides an opportunity for sharing ideas and improving communication and collaboration between the growing number of primary care research networks in the UK and across the world.
- UK Clinical Research Network
- The UK Clinical Research Network was developed to support clinical research and to facilitate the conduct of randomised prospective trials of interventions and other well-designed studies. It is initially supporting the development of six Topic Specific Research Networks in the fields of cancer, dementias and neurodegenerative disease, diabetes, medicines for children, mental health and stroke and, over time, will hopefully enable research to be conducted across the full spectrum of disease and clinical need.

- Forum: Qualitative Social Research
- Forum: Qualitative Social Research is a peer-reviewed multilingual online journal for qualitative research.
